Los Angeles, CA · Interactive media production
EdgeCentric was an independent interactive media production company based in Los Angeles. From 2002 to 2010, the company designed and built experiential installations, produced branded video content, and developed digital tools for clients across the automotive, government, entertainment, and consumer goods industries. The company has since closed, but the work lives on here.
EdgeCentric grew out of a single project: the Corel Digitalism Vehicle (DAVE) — a 30-ton mobile studio and classroom built in three weeks in 2002 to bring hands-on digital creativity experiences to audiences across North America. The team that built it didn't stop there.
Over the following eight years, EdgeCentric specialized in interactive media that refused to sit still — trade show builds, on-location video shoots, broadcast production, and custom software. The studio maintained in-house production, editorial, and graphics capabilities, allowing work to move from script to screen without leaving the building.
Crews were drawn from the Hollywood production community. Projects spanned network television, independent film, web commercials, government communications, and live brand activations. EdgeCentric closed in 2010.
